  • Claudia Maria Pereira
    Graduated in Dentistry from Universidade Federal Fluminense (RJ). She is a dentist with a specialization in Stomatology (ABO-MG). Master of Science (Oncology area) from Fundação Antônio Prudente São Paulo (SP) and PhD in Science from Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) with a research line focused on the Molecular Bases of Oral Diseases. He completed his post-doctorate at the Laboratory of Cell Morphogenesis (ICB-UFRJ) under the guidance of prof. Vivaldo Moura Neto, where he developed research in the field of Epigenetics, with analyzes of the DNA methylation profile and the expression of microRNAs in oral cancer and glioblastoma. Has experience in Dentistry (with an emphasis on Stomatology) and in Molecular Biology (with an emphasis on Cancer Genetics). Currently, she holds the position of assistant professor with a PhD at the University of Grande Rio (Unigranrio), is part of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Programs in Translational Biomedicine (Biotrans) and Unigranrio Clinical and Experimental Dentistry (Odontoclinex). His line of research is the studies of gene expression in Translational Biomedicine, with an emphasis on Epigenetics (DNA methylation and tissue and circulating microRNAs) in diseases such as oral cancer, periodontal and peri-implant disease, glioblastomas and obesity.

    Dental surgeon from the Faculty of Dentistry of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (FO-UERJ - in 2007). Specialist in Endodontics (UERJ - 2008). Master in Dental Clinic, area of ​​concentration in Endodontics, by the Faculty of Dentistry of Piracicaba (FOP-UNICAMP - 2011). PhD in Dental Clinic, area of ​​concentration in Endodontics, by the Faculty of Dentistry of Piracicaba (FOP-UNICAMP) with a research internship at the University of Minnesota, MN, USA, in 2013.   • Flavio Rodrigues Ferreira Alves (Coordenador do Programa)
    PhD in Biological Sciences (Microbiology) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2008), master's degree in Dentistry (Endodontics) from the University Estácio de Sá (2004), specialist in Endodontics from the University Estácio de Sá (2001), graduated in Dentistry from the University Estácio de Sá (1999). Researcher at the Young Scientist Program of Our State at the Carlos Chagas Filho Foundation for Research Support in the State of Rio de Janeiro (2012 - current). Professor of the Graduate Program in Dentistry at the University of Grande Rio (master's and doctorate). Full professor at Iguaçu University. Member of the International Preferred Reporting Items for Laboratory Studies in Endodontology (PRILE), PRIDE (Great Britain). He was assistant coordinator of the Postgraduate Program stricto sensu in Dentistry at Universidade Estácio de Sá, master's and doctorate levels (Endodontics), and responsible for the Microbiology laboratory of the same Program (for 10 years). He coordinated 12 specialization classes in Endodontics at Universidade Estácio de Sá, 4 classes at the Brazilian Dental Association of Niterói. He is the current coordinator of the specialization course in Endodontics at Orthodontic Internacional.   • Henrique dos Santos Antunes
    Graduated in Dentistry from Unigranrio (1999). Specialist in Endodontics by Unigranrio (2002). Master in Dentistry, area of concentration in Endodontics, from the University of Taubaté (2006). PhD in Dentistry from Universidade Estácio de Sá (2015). He is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Grande Rio (Unigranrio), undergraduate and the Stricto Sensu Dentistry Graduate Program. Has experience in Dentistry, with emphasis on Endodontics, working mainly on the following topics: instruments and chemical-mechanical preparation of the root canal system; tooth avulsion; periradicular microsurgery and diagnostic imaging. He is currently a member of the CNPQ research groups: Endodontic Biology (UNESA), coordinated by Professor Dr. José Freitas Siqueira Júnior; Clinical and Experimental Endodontics (Unigranrio), coordinated by Professor Dr. Emmanuel João Nogueira Leal da Silva.

  • Isabela das Neves Rocas Siqueira
    Graduated in Dentistry from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1992). Specialization in Endodontics from Universidade Gama Filho (1996). Master in Microbiology from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2002). PhD in Sciences (Microbiology) by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2004). She is a full professor of Endodontics at the Iguaçu University (UNIG) and an adjunct professor in the Masters and Doctorate Program in Dentistry at the University of Grande Rio (Unigranrio). She was a professor of Endodontics at undergraduate, specialization, master's and doctoral courses at Universidade Estácio de Sá, and coordinated the Molecular Microbiology Laboratory linked to the Master's / Doctorate Program at the same institution for 15 years. She was institutional coordinator of PIBIC / CNPq at Estácio for 5 years. He has more than 170 scientific articles published in international journals, including the main ones in the areas of Microbiology and Dentistry, such as Clinical Microbiology Reviews, Journal of Clinical Microbiology, PLoS One, Journal of Dental Research and Journal of Endodontics. Contributed chapters to major international Endodontic books, including "Cohen´s Pathways of the Pulp" (two editions), "Ïngle's Endodontics", "Orstavik's Essential Endodontology", "Torabinejad & Walton´s Endodontics: Principles and Practice" and "Siqueira´s Treatment of Endodontic Infections".   • Jose Freitas Siqueira Junior
    Graduated in Dentistry from Universidade Gama Filho (1989). Specialist in Endodontics, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Master of Science (Microbiology) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1996). Doctor of Science (Microbiology) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1998). He is currently a full professor of Endodontics and coordinator of the Dental Research Group at the Iguaçu University (UNIG). Adjunct professor of the Masters and Doctorate Program in Dentistry at the University of Grande Rio (Unigranrio). He was a full professor and coordinator of the stricto sensu Postgraduate Program in Dentistry, master's and doctorate levels (Endodontics), at Universidade Estácio de Sá, of whom he was the creator, author and coordinator of the implementation project. He was coordinator of the Health / Dentistry area at FAPERJ (2015 to 2018). He is a member of the editorial board and ad hoc reviewer of numerous international journals, having served as Associate Editor of the Journal of Endodontics (2006-2009). He is the author of 9 books, among them "Treatment of Endodontic Infections" (2011) and "Endodontology: an integrated biological and clinical view" (2013), both originally published in English by Quintessence Publishing. He has published more than 360 scientific articles in national and international journals, including the main ones in the areas of Microbiology and Dentistry, such as Clinical Microbiology Reviews, Journal of Clinical Microbiology, PLoS One, Journal of Dental Research and Journal of Endodontics. As outstanding honors, he received the 2014 Louis I. Grossman Award from the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), the main international honor for a researcher in the field of Endodontics; and the 2012 Louis I. Grossman Award from the Societé Française d´Endodontie (SFE), the main European tribute to a researcher in the field. Since 2008, he is one of the few professors outside the United States to appear on the Recommended Speakers List of the American Association of Endodontists, whose names are endorsed by the Association for continuing education courses, earning credits in that country. He has taught numerous courses in Brazil, the United States, Europe and Latin America. He is a researcher 1A at CNPq and a Scientist at Nosso Estado at FAPERJ.

Master in Biological Sciences (Biophysics) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2008). Graduated in Physical Education at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2004). He has experience in the areas of Biochemistry, General Physiology and Exercise Physiology, with an emphasis on Physiology and Cell Biochemistry, acting mainly on the following themes: Na + primary active renal transporters, cell signaling and muscle contraction biochemistry. Currently, he holds the position of assistant professor at the University of Grande Rio (Unigranrio) and is part of the Graduate Programs in Translational Biomedicine (BIOTRANS). Its line of research is the study of primary active renal sodium transporters and their modulation by peptides from the Renin Angiotensin Aldosterone System in arterial hypertension associated with obesity.

    Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos de Lima-Peru (1967), master's degree (1972) and doctorate (1977) in Biological Sciences (Genetics) from the University of São Paulo. He is currently a senior researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation - head of the Human Genetics Laboratory at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC / Fiocruz). He is an adjunct professor at the University of Grande Rio (Unigranrio). He has extensive experience in Statistics Applied to Biomedical Sciences, working mainly on the following topics: Genetics of Human Populations, Genetic Epidemiology of Cystic Fibrosis, Genetics of Multifactorial Chronic Diseases (Arterial Hypertension, Obesity, Metabolic Syndrome, Parkinson, Alzheimer, Diabetes, Prostate Cancer and Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy) and Genetics of Degenerative Neuromuscular Diseases (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).

    Graduated in Dentistry, specialist and master in Endodontics from the University of Grande Rio (Unigranrio). PhD in Materials Science by the Military Engineering Institute (IME). Professor of the undergraduate course in Dentistry and PPGO (master's and doctorate) at Unigranrio. Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Translational Biomedicine (BIOTRANS) (Unigranrio / UEZO / INMETRO). Operates in Biomaterials research lines, mainly Nickel-Titanium alloys. Participation in the book Endodontics Biology and Technique as co-author of the chapters dealing with endodontic instruments and their fracture mechanisms. He has more than 50 published articles on the subject.
